“The sky is the limit” staged at Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya by PPA

“The sky is the limit”- A play written and directed by Indu Dharmasena.

The Past Pupils’ Association of Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya, which has a rich history of 73 years, has always taken pride in organizing its annual fund raiser in a different way each year.

This year on the 6 of October the Committee staged a play written and directed by Indu Dharmasena. A packed audience viewed this rib tickling comedy in the school’s just completed, re-furbished Auditorium.

“We wanted the theatre lovers to appreciate and enjoy the ambience of its new environment,” stated the President of the Past Pupils’ Association Mrs. Roshni Amaratunga. President Roshni, an Accountant by profession, is a leader with inner strength and simplicity, who has given leadership to her ever energetic and supportive team.

The Chief Guest for this occasion was a distinguished past pupil of the school Mrs. Mano Ramanathan. She had the proud privilege of being a Past President of both the Past Pupils’ Association and the Board of Management of the School. She has always taken interest in the activities of both the Past Pupils’ Association and the School and is an Attorney- at – Law by profession.

The Guests of Honour for the function were Rev. Sister Priyanthi, Principal of the Primary School, and yet another dynamic Past President, Attorney-at- Law Mrs. Santoshi Herat Watapuluwa. -DM
