Sirasa Super Star Surendra Perera
Sirasa SuperStar (Lankan Idol) is a musical reality show conducted in Sri Lanka by the TV channel Sirasa TV. Its aim is to find the most talented upcoming singer in the country. The competition’s first season began in mid 2005 and ended in March 2006. Season II is currently underway. Sirasa SuperStar is similar to the musical reality series: Pop Idol.
The man behind this crowd-pulling mega TV show is the Executive Producer, Sirasa Superstar, Nilendra Deshapriya, who considers Sirasa Superstar a ‘religion today’. As the grand finale is round the corner, Nilendra and his team are geared up to present the show as, ‘The Biggest Television Event Ever” seen in Sri Lanka, with 100 finalists on one stage!
The final show is held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, among a large audience. According to the number of votes received by each contestant on that day, the one with the higher number is crowned the Sirasa Superstar and the other becomes the Runner-up. For Season II, the winner, will be awarded a Rs. 3.4 million worth car, in addition to the prestigious trophy.

GUD LUK TO SURENDRA PERERA. i like to listten songs but surendra’s songs never had enough of listtning, its amazing / some time i can listten to it over and over. for instent i, i can listten to pradeep’s songs but not too long only one or max two songs.
