Oriflame Look of the Year Contest 2007

Mirror Life – Oriflame is a globally renowned cosmetics company that specializes in high quality natural Swedish cosmetics. Founded in 1967 in Sweden, currently the company operates in over 60 countries worldwide and is the market leader in more than 30 countries. The wide range of products offered by Oriflame caters to women and men alike all over the world.

To promote beauty and fashion Oriflame has come up with the Oriflame Look of the Year Fashion Contest for 2007, after the immense success of past years’ contests. It is open to all Sri lankans over 16 years of age, and the entry procedure is a walk in the park. To enter, all one needs to do is to do a make over in the categories of:

1. Casual Cutie – a comfortable and informal with suitable makeup

2. Miss Punk – provoking attitudes, unconventional hairstyles, daring makeup, and clothing

3. Lady Vintage – sophisticated, elegant, evening wear and makeup

take pictures, and send it to Oriflame after filling in the application form. The three winners in the three categories will be selected by a professional panel of beauticians and fashion designers. And the total give aways planned for all three categories is over Rs. 1,000,000 from Oriflame.

The prizes are.

• 1st Prize – Rs. 100,000 and a Cosmetics sponsorship worth Rs. 75,000

• 2nd Prize – Cosmetics sponsorship worth Rs. 75,000

• 3rd Prize – Cosmetics sponsorship worth Rs. 50,000

• Rs. 100,000 worth of consolation prizes

The 10 finalists of all three categories will be groomed and trained by the former Miss. Sri Lanka, Rozanne Diasz for the pageant which will be held on December, 20th at the Water’s Edge. Entries are accepted from 27th October to 30th November 2007. Managing Director of Oriflame Sri Lanka, Mr. Per Gunnarsson is striving to set the national record of entries and for the general public to have fun together with Oriflame Cosmetics.
