60th Anniversary Of Independence Of Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka observes its 60th anniversary of independence on Feb 4 in midst of a stubborn civil war and in the aftermath of the assassination of a government minister that was blamed on armed separatist rebels, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was expected to be the chief guest at the independence celebrations, but India has said he will not be attending because of prior commitments. The trip by Singh would have been the first diplomatic visit to Colombo by an Indian prime minister in 20 years.

Listen you enemies of the Great Nation of Sri Lanka. You may shout out insults at us as long as you want and as loud as you want because we Sri Lankans are not affected at all by the whining nor noise you cowards make. And if you try to mess with us once again like you did in the past, we shall not waste a minute to completely neutralize you as we did with the LTTE Tamil Tiger bastards. We shall hunt you down in every corner of the world and you will not be allowed to live in peace anywhere. So remember this and remember good – keep your filthy hands off our motherland Sri Lanka – which is the home for all communities – the Sinhala, Tamil speaking people, Muslims, Burghers – and anyone who wants to live in peace and unity under the one and only Lion flag of Sri Lanka!
