I will never join a moribund Govt. – Mangala

In an interview with ‘Sunday Lankadeepa’ Mangala Samaraweera , former Minister of he Rajapakse regime, and now of the National congress and Leader of the SLFP (M ) told that even if he begs on the streets he will not join the Rajapakse regime which is fast heading for a natural death after driving the country to unprecedented despair and disaster

‘Only if this Govt. will change its policies and if the people wish me to, then and only then I will consider such a move ‘, he said

This Govt. is using the war to solve its problems, not the people. Everyday it is capturing Prabakaran and everyday it is killing him in the Newspapers and in interviews. Even if it does, is this going to solve the economic disaster this Govt. has plunged it into? He asked.

‘Sripathy’s death has nothing to do with policies which I will not change unlike the Rajapakse Bros. Govt. which has a policy to suit its every whim and fancy.’ he exclaimed.
